Morgan was one of the actors in the film that provides information Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention and awareness. Proceeds from the video was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has spearheaded numerous other fundraisers for the disease as well as testified before a special Congressional committee about AIDS education. Morgan is a part of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop's former assistant surgeon general asked her occasionally to sub for him during AIDS awareness events. She also hosted a AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan was awarded an Emmy Award for Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was created specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife along with Joan Rivers. Her summer started with Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. The next film she was in sent her to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also appeared in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" that was exclusively produced by USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top reviews of all time for that network.
